Tree Management came into existence on the 9th November 1989, you may recognise this date for an altogether different and bigger reason though 9th November 1989 was the day the Berlin Wall came down starting a new chapter in the history of the world.

The business started as a sole trading business but went on to develop into a partnership l994 and has grown from strength to strength, we picked up our first council work in 1994 and have been working for Stroud District Council ever since.

In 1992 Tree Management applied for and was granted a Transfer Station Licence, this enabled us to store and market green waste legally, this has evolved over the last few years to a Waste Management Licence which apparently under new legislation now we don't actually require as we also hold an exemption certificate enabling us to hold an extra 1000m³ of green waste or composted waste.

As the business developed Ian found he had no time to climbing as his time was increasingly demanded by clients for surveys and specifications so during mid 2006 he started training for consultancy.
